What is the Mecc Alte UVR6 AVR?

The UVR6 serves as an analog automatic voltage regulator present in all Mecc Alte AC alternators, commonly utilized in conjunction with diesel engines to generate diesel-powered generators. Employing technology akin to the smaller SR7, the UVR6 is versatile, accommodating both single-phase and three-phase sensing capabilities.

Built-in Protections of the Mecc Alte UVR6:

The UVR6 comes equipped with Overload and Low-Speed protection mechanisms. LEDs incorporated within the AVR illuminate when these protective systems are activated. Additionally, both protections feature adjustable parameters. The Overload protection incorporates a built-in delay, enhancing the alternator's ability to accommodate motor starting scenarios.
