The MX321 provides 3-phase sensing, a short circuit limiter, over-voltage adjustment, and DWELL, which is useful when the alternator is coupled to a turbocharged engine with limited block load acceptance. This regulator is commonly used and is standard on HC634, LV634, and P7 machines, with power ratings from 700 kW to 2200 kW.
